Recently, I got a book titled "启动内在智慧的钥匙 《六祖坛经》解读". It's quite an interesting read about how the sixth generation Dharma Master Hui Neng came to attain enlightenment. It also talks about crushing rice as a Dharma practice.
I don't know if one can get this book globally outside of China, so here are two books as intro into the Zen discipline/branch of Buddhism by Thích Nhất Hạnh.

I hear some say that those meditation does not help with daily life stress, but I say that the meditation itself is very useful to me in all sorts of ways. For personal privacy I won't say much here, other than it's very useful when you want to overcome an obstacle in life, especially if it is related to mental health.
